About
Casinocrab
Who is behind these reviews, why the pages carry a team byline, and what “we checked” means when you read it here.
Why We Built This
Most casino review sites are written for a $20 deposit and a welcome spin. Casinocrab is for the Canadian player who wants to know whether a large withdrawal actually clears, whether the VIP host answers, and whether a “high-limit” table still means anything once you sit down at it. We don’t take an operator’s word on any of that. Licence numbers get checked against the regulator’s own registry instead of the badge in the footer, and every bonus gets read to the end of its terms, wagering and game weighting included.
Who Writes Casinocrab
The site is run by a small independent team. Reviews, guides and news pages are signed “the Casinocrab team” because a page here is usually put together by more than one person, from collecting the terms to checking the licence and editing the copy. The site answers for every claim on it, so the byline names the site.
Casinocrab is not a casino and hosts no games. It earns affiliate commissions, which the Editorial Standards page explains along with how rankings are kept apart from them.
What “We Checked” Means
Some operators on this site have been through a full real money test: a funded account, the welcome bonus played under its actual wagering terms, and a withdrawal requested at the size a real player would ask for. Others are rated on what can be verified without an account, such as the licence register, the published terms, the payment pages, complaint records and results from sister brands on the same platform. Where a page reports a specific deposit or payout time, it came from an account we funded ourselves.
A casino with an unclear owner, a support line that goes quiet, or a licence we can’t match to the regulator’s register doesn’t make a list, whatever its affiliate terms look like. Most of the editorial work is that filtering, and readers rarely see it.
We use software to produce the site, AI tools included. An editor checks every claim against its source before a page goes live. The details are on the Editorial Standards page.
Tell Us What We Got Wrong
If you hold a high-roller account with an operator we haven’t covered, or your experience with one we have doesn’t match the page, write to info@casinocrab.org. We check it against the operator and correct the page.
